Testimonials

After doing months of research, I knew that if I was to get crown treatment in Turkey, my best option would be to have them all individually crowned. This would help the long term health of my teeth and gums. When I finally settled on a clinic, I confirmed with them that I would be getting individual crowns. They confirmed this to me in writing. I arrived in Turkey, signed my life away and then went straight in to surgery to have my teeth filed down. So far, so good. When I returned to see my new teeth for the first time, I was shocked to see that they’d all been bridged in three teeth sections. I told the dentist that we’d agreed on individual crowns, but the dentist insisted that this is the only option and the most up to date research suggests that bridgework is the best option. I couldn’t believe it. I knew he was talking nonsense, but I was going home in a few days and they already had my money. I had no choice, but to carry on with the treatment. A few adjustments needed to be made, so the day before I left, I had my new teeth permanently fixed in. They weren’t right. I couldn’t bite properly, my front teeth didn’t touch, I could feel my back teeth pushing in to my cheek, where they were too big. To top it all off, they’d come back two shades whiter than I asked for. I instantly regretted my decision. When I raised all these concerns with the dentist, he said to go home, give it a few months, and if I still wasn’t happy, to come back and he’ll resolve the issue free of charge.
A couple of months went by and I decided to contact the after care team. I explained everything that had happened and included the written evidence confirming I would receive individual crowns. I was met with accusations. “Why did you allow treatment to continue if you were not happy” “you signed the consent form”
“You shouldn’t have left Turkey if you were not happy”. Eventually, I was granted a video call with the dentist. He said he could give me individual crowns and fix my bite, but that it would be very expensive. At this point I just gave up. I was not getting anywhere and I certainly was not going to get what I paid for. To be honest, had they offered the work free of charge, I wouldn’t have trusted them to resolve the issues, anyway.
I decided to get the work done in the UK. After a lot of research, I found Micheal at Aspire. After an in depth consultation, I felt assured that Michael could fix my teeth. Approximately 3 months later and I couldn’t be happier.

I just feel like a mug for going to Turkey and expecting good results at a budget price with a week to do it. Having seen the work done properly in the UK, I now realise how ridiculous the idea of getting a complete set of crowns done in a week actually is. Avoid Turkey teeth!
