New Patient Journey

At your first visit you will be welcomed by our front of house team member who will walk you through what’s going to happen and will also complete all the necessary paperwork and medical background questionnaires.  This is done discreetly however if you would like somewhere more private to discuss any aspect then please ask as this is available.

Oral Health Assessment

Your first assessment will last approximately 45 minutes during which time the dentist will complete a comprehensive assessment of your mouth, face, head and neck, complete an oral cancer screening, take digital x-rays, Intra oral scan to create a 3D image of your mouth and clinical photographs where appropriate, discuss current findings and future aspirations and discuss potential treatment options if required.  They will also be able to advise on the most suitable membership plan for you to join, based on expected treatment requirements.

Hygiene Visit

Once the dentist has completed his initial assessment you will be seen by one of our dental Hygiene therapists who will commence any necessary treatment to restore gum and oral health.  This is an integral part of your regular Oral Health routine as it helps to maintain gum health and prevent periodontal disease.

Treatment coordination and scheduling

Once you have finished with the therapist our front of house staff will recap any treatment plans that have been discussed with Michael and invite you to schedule any follow up appointments, as well as providing you with after care materials and information.  They will also provide and help complete any documentation required to join the membership plan.

After your visit if you require any further assistance prior to your next scheduled appointment then you may phone the practice and speak to one of the team who will happily help.
