When it comes to maintaining the beauty of your smile, we understand how important it is to capture your originality. Fitting veneers are a widely preferred and minimally invasive way to achieve this.
Veneers are thin shells of either composite material or porcelain that directly bond to the front of your teeth. They can be placed to improve an already well aligned smile but at the shade of the veneer, brightening your smile and restoring the natural beauty of your teeth. Alternatively, they can be used to correct a crowded overlapping smile creating the end result of an aligned and more aesthetically pleasing smile.
There are two varying options when it comes to veneers. We offer:
- Veneers constructed out of composite material (similar to that which is used in fillings). This process is cheaper per tooth compared to porcelain and can be undertaken in a single session at Aspire, with our dentists shade-matching, creating and fitting the veneers in the same day.
- Veneers constructed out of porcelain. Porcelain veneer fittings require two sessions – one to ascertain the shade, shape and size of the veneers before being built in a laboratory, and another session to fit them once we’ve received them from the laboratory. Porcelain veneers are often revered for their longevity and superior gloss and shine once fitted compared to composite.
